Learning about microorganisms does not need to be boring!

PYP 5 spent 6 weeks learning how to control for microorganisms in food preservation. Today they were celebrating the final products of jam, berry syrup, and lime pickles with a smorgasbord. To prepare, they went outside and prepared ice cream in bags. After, they sampled the jams and pickle on crackers and the berry syrup on ice cream. They also flavored water with dried citrus fruits.

I will tell you something. If you want to prepare ice cream, you do not need to contract shoulder pain by shaking the ingredients for a long time. Just invite a friend and play together by throwing bags with ice and the rest of the ingredients like we did!
