Literacy Week 2025: A Celebration of Reading – WIS Wrocław International School

This week, as part of Literacy Week 2025, our PYP and MYP students celebrated the joy of reading through a range of engaging and creative activities.

PYP students took part in daily DEAR sessions (Drop Everything And Read), enjoyed a Monday kick-off with Ms. Maria, listened to teachers reading their childhood favourites, created collaborative class stories, joined a House Word Hunt, and ended the week with a colourful Dress Up Day.

MYP students explored Shakespearean sonnets, participated in Buddy Reading with younger classes, read during breaks, competed in a House Kahoot quiz, and concluded the week with a Spelling Bee.

Thank you to all students and teachers for your enthusiasm and participation.
It was a week filled with imagination, teamwork, and the magic of books.
