The WIS Head of School and Coordinators recently returned from the IB Global Conference 2025, which took place in The Hague from October 23–25. Together with representatives from other schools of Foundation of International Education, they joined educators and leaders from around the world to share experiences, exchange best practices, and discuss the future of international education.

This year’s conference, held under the theme “Our Humanity. Connected.”, focused on how IB schools can foster empathy, strengthen global connections, and prepare students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.

For WIS, the event was not only an opportunity to gain new insights and ideas but also a chance to reaffirm our commitment to the philosophy of lifelong learning. We believe that lifelong learning is essential. That’s why we continuously grow, reflect, and develop to provide our students with the best possible learning environment.

The knowledge and inspiration gained at the conference will now help our educators further enrich the WIS learning experience and continue to build a vibrant, globally minded school community.
