Teacher’s Day Celebration
Today, Poland celebrates Education Day, also known as Teacher’s Day. This day, observed on October 14th, honors the establishment of the Commission of National Education (Komisja Edukacji Narodowej, KEN) in 1773, the world’s first ministry of education. KEN played a pioneering role in shaping modern education in Poland, promoting equal access to learning and setting high standards for teaching and school organization.
On this special occasion, our wonderful parents surprised our teachers with a beautiful banner and thoughtfully prepared teas. In addition, a few days ago, the Board of the Foundation of International Education, the governing body of our school, invited all staff to a joint celebration at a restaurant, and today they generously provided cakes for all employees.
We are deeply grateful for these thoughtful gestures from both our parent community and the Foundation. Together, we continue to make our school a place where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
