On February 6th, the spirit of our brand-new House System truly came to life at Wroclaw International School!

Following the exciting announcement earlier this year, our students had their House event.

🔎 A School-Wide Photo Hunt Challenge

Students from PYP and MYP teamed up in their Houses – Forests, Castles, Rivers, and Bridges – and set off on an adventurous photo hunt around the school. Their mission? To find specific locations, symbols, and hidden spots, capture creative team photos, and complete challenges together.

The corridors were buzzing with energy as mixed-age teams collaborated, strategized, and raced against time. The event wasn’t just about collecting points,  it was about communication, teamwork, and building connections across grade levels.

🏆 Friendly Competition, Real Community Spirit

Each House earned points through participation, creativity, and cooperation. The scoreboard quickly filled up, and students eagerly checked the latest updates to see how their House was performing. The healthy rivalry brought plenty of excitement, but what stood out most was the strong sense of unity and shared purpose.

The House System, inspired by the world of Harry Potter, is designed to strengthen our school community by bringing students together beyond their classrooms. This first event showed exactly what we hoped for: positive energy, collaboration, and a touch of magic.

We are incredibly proud of how our students embraced this new tradition. If this is just the beginning, we can’t wait to see how the House System will continue to grow and shape life at WIS.
