Hiking Club is a special school outdoor activity. We invite students, parents and staff to join us spending our free time in nature. It is open to students from Grade 2, both WIS and our sister school ATUT, to DP from International High School of Wroclaw. Hiking Club has several aims: integration, exploring tourist attractions and sightseeing, learning how to move safely in the mountainous terrain, how to wander in a group, how to follow the regulations of any protected area, and how to cultivate tourism rationally. Our destinations are various ranges of the Sudetes (mountains in southwest Poland). The trips are organized and led by Mr. Radek Tokarz, WIS PYP Music teacher, who is a licensed mountain guide. The plan for each school year is to organize two one-day trips in the autumn and two one-day trips in the spring. They will take place usually on Saturdays. The details about each trip is announced via Managebac.
