At WIS, learning continues beyond the classroom. Our Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) give students the opportunity to explore new interests, develop talents, build friendships and enjoy a richer school experience.
The programme evolves throughout the year in response to student interests and the needs of our school community, helping ensure that children can discover activities that feel engaging, meaningful and enjoyable.
PYP Students
Students in the PYP can choose from a wide range of activities, from creative design, pottery and dramatic arts to coding, robotics, chess and street dance. The programme is designed to give children the freedom to explore, create and discover what they enjoy.
Activities bring together students from different grades and backgrounds, helping children build confidence, develop new interests and form friendships across ages and languages. English is used as the main language of instruction, and students are encouraged to communicate in English during their activities.
The programme runs three times a year, giving students regular opportunities to try something new and broaden their experience of school life.
Parents are informed of sign up via Managebac.
MYP Students
The ECA offer for MYP students is shaped by their interests and growing independence. Activities are designed to give older students more choice, more ownership and more opportunities to pursue their strengths beyond the classroom.
Recent activities have included robotics, film, pottery, weaving and rock band, creating space for students to develop practical skills, creativity and confidence in a supportive environment.
As the programme continues to grow, MYP students are encouraged not only to join activities, but also to express their interests and help shape the direction of the offer.
MYP students receive sign-up information through their advisory page.
